THE EVENT

OUR HISTORY

NodeConf EU has solidified its position as Europe’s leading Node.js event, setting the standard since its first legendary gathering at the Guinness Storehouse back in 2012. Over the years NodeConf EU has evolved into the must-attend conference for developers, architects, engineers, and thought leaders from over 30 countries across the globe. Our mission has always been to curate the highest qaulity talks, the most relevant workshops, and to maintain a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for people to meet and share ideas.

THE VENUE

LYRATH ESTATE HOTEL

A luxurious five-star hotel in the medieval heart of Ireland, Kilkenny. Lyrath Estate is celebrated for its gorgeous grounds that are spread across 170 acres of Irish countryside, complete with picturesque lakes, historic gardens, and emerald woodlands. DIRECTIONS

By Bus: Travelling to Kilkenny from Dublin Airport by bus takes just over two hours. The two main operators on this route are:

JJ Kavanagh: Operate the 717 bus which departs from the main coach park (Zone 12 & 14) every hour to two hours with fares starting from €20 one-way. To see timetables and book tickets visit theJJ Kavanagh website
Dublin Coach: Operate a Dublin to Cork service which travels via Kilkenny every two hours. This service departs from the main coach park (Zone 12 & 14) with a change at the Red Cow LUAS stop. Fares start from €15 one way.

By Taxi: There are a number of taxi operators that offer transfer services from Dublin Airport. Prices for a one-way trip to Kilkenny start from around €160 for a 4-seater. It is important to note these fares are only on specific taxi services that offer this route and not necessarily from the taxi rank outside the airport. These services must typically be pre-booked in advance. A quick google search will show you some taxi companies offering this service and their terms and conditions.

By Rail: There is a railway service from Dublin’s Heuston Station to Kilkenny’s MacDonagh Station every two hours. The journey takes just over two hours and fares start from €26 one-way. Heuston Station is located in Dublin City Centre and there are multiple buses travelling from Dublin Airport to the station leaving from outside the Arrivals lounge.
